Take the Server Out of the Closet

If your business runs on a server in a closet and desktops that only work when someone sits in front of them, it is tied to one building, and backups and security depend on whoever remembers to check.

Cloud services change where that work happens. Your servers and desktops run as virtual machines that our team manages, your files are stored and backed up away from the office, and staff can reach what they need from home, a second location or the road. Capacity grows or shrinks with the business instead of waiting on the next hardware purchase. Enjoy improved business operations with scalability and efficiency — affordable, adaptable, and with absolutely no upfront cost.

Because NPA also handles internet, phones and IT support, you deal with one company, one bill and one support number, backed by round-the-clock VIP support.

What Our Cloud Services Cover

Virtual Servers

Business applications and shared drives run on virtual servers instead of a box in your office. We manage them, along with any servers you keep on site.

Virtual PCs & Desktops

With virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), each employee gets the same desktop, programs and files whether they sign in at the office or from home.

Remote Workforce

Equip staff to work from home, on the road or at another office with the same files and tools they use at their desks.

Data Storage & File Sharing

Keep company files in cloud storage and share them with the people who need them, instead of passing copies around by email or thumb drive.

Cloud Backup

Backups that live away from your building, including cloud-to-cloud backup for information that already sits in online business applications.

Disaster Recovery

A recovery plan designed for your business: which systems come back first, where your data is restored from, and how staff keep working while the office is closed.

Migration

We move servers, files and email to the cloud on a schedule agreed with you, including Microsoft 365 migration and management and Google Workspace administration.

Cyber Security

Security is part of every cloud setup, with protections aimed at keeping business data confidential, intact and available to the right people. Managed IT adds threat protection across your network.

Web Hosting

Shared, VPS and dedicated hosting, domain registration and transfers, and email addresses that match your domain. Details on our Hosting page.

24/7 VIP Support

Help at any hour from the team that set up your cloud services and manages them.

When the Office Has to Close

Disruptions come in every size, from a hurricane that shuts down a county to a glitch that knocks one server offline. A disaster recovery plan decides how much of a bad day turns into lost work.

Disaster recovery is not one size fits all, so we design yours around how your company runs: what you cannot work without, where copies of your data live, and how people get back to work. The aim is data you can recover and operations back online as quickly as possible.

  • Before the storm. Backups are stored away from the office, so a closed or damaged building does not take your data with it.
  • While you are closed. Staff with virtual desktops and remote access can keep working from home or wherever they are safe.
  • Once it passes. Systems are restored from those copies, and the team that set them up helps you get running again.

For the network itself, Managed IT adds automated backups, tested restores and IP failover. More in our post on why disaster recovery planning matters.

Fitted to the Way You Work

Small medical, legal and hospitality businesses are common across South Florida, and each keeps different work on its computers. Some examples:

Medical & Dental Offices

Practice software and front-desk files have to be ready every morning. We help you decide which systems move to the cloud and which stay in the office, and we manage both.

Law Firms

Documents follow attorneys between the office, the courthouse and home. Shared cloud storage keeps one current version instead of copies scattered across laptops.

Restaurants & Hospitality

Behind the dining room sit schedules, invoices and a website. Cloud storage keeps back-office files reachable from any location, and we can host the website too.

How a Move to the Cloud Works

1

Review

A trusted advisor visits your office and looks at the systems you run today and what you pay for them. There is no charge for this visit.

2

Plan

Your custom proposal compares current costs with ours side by side and spells out what moves to the cloud, what stays, and in what order.

3

Move

A dedicated project manager coordinates the migration and any on-site work, and your staff are trained on what is new. The cutover is timed to keep interruptions small.

4

Manage

We keep managing and supporting your cloud services after the move. Existing clients reach support at (954) 320-4070.

The Cloud Rides on Your Connection

Every file your team opens in the cloud travels over your internet line. NPA supplies business internet, business phone systems and managed IT as well, so one team is responsible for the whole path from the desk to your data.

Combine cloud services with any two other NPA services and Managed IT is included at no additional cost.

Local to Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade

NPA Global works from 110 SE 6th St, 17th Floor, in Fort Lauderdale, and serves businesses throughout Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. We are a South Florida company, not a national call center, and our advisors come to your location to see how your business runs before recommending anything.

Doing business here shapes how we plan. Storm season comes every year, so we plan for the office having to close and keep data and desktops reachable from somewhere else. And in a tourist-driven economy, your online systems and website need to be available when customers come looking.

Our office is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and support for existing clients is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Cloud Services FAQ

What do your cloud services include?

Virtual servers and PCs, remote workforce setups, data storage, backup and disaster recovery, migration, cyber security, virtualization and web hosting. Start with the piece you need most, such as backups or remote access, and add more as the business grows.

Do we have to move everything to the cloud?

No. We manage servers in the office and in the cloud, so a system can stay on site where that makes sense while the rest moves. Sorting out which is which is part of the assessment.

Can you move our email and files?

Yes. Migration is part of the service, including Microsoft 365 migration and management, Google Workspace administration, and moving shared files into cloud storage.

What happens to our data if a hurricane closes the office?

With backups kept away from the building and a recovery plan in place, your data does not depend on the office being open. Staff set up for remote work can carry on from home, and we help restore systems once the storm has passed.

Do you host websites and business email?

Yes. Our Hosting service covers shared, VPS and dedicated hosting, domain registration and transfers, and email addresses on your own domain.

What do cloud services cost?

That depends on the people, systems and locations involved, so there is no flat price list. We begin with a free review of what you spend today. Projects often start with no out-of-pocket expense, and service is billed monthly.

Who do we call when something stops working?

Existing clients call our support line, (954) 320-4070. One number covers your cloud services and every other NPA service you use.
